Our Statement of Faith

  • The Bible is infallible.

    The Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to our problems.

    • 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21

  • There is one God.

    There is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

    • John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7

  • God is love.

    God is love and He loves all people. It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal all that are brokenhearted.

    • Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16

  • Man is created in God's image.

    Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God.

  • We can have relationship with God.

    By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ we can be born again into God's family. Salvation is God's free gift that cannot be earned but received only by faith in Jesus.

  • Water baptism is how we identify with Jesus.

    We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with His death, burial and resurrection.

    • Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift.

    The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God's will.

    • Matthew 3:11 ; Acts 2:4

  • God gives all believers spiritual gifts.

    Spiritual gifts are for the strengthening of God's people (the Church) and proof of God's existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today.

    • 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10

  • Sanctification develops God's character in us.

    Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God's character to be developed in us through the power and leading of His Holy Spirit.

    • Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25

  • Divine healing is active today.

    Divine healing occurs in the lives of people today through Jesus Christ, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration.

    • Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1

  • Hell is a real place.

    Hell is a place of suffering and permanent separation from God for those who die without accepting Jesus. God's desire is that we spend eternity with Him in heaven instead, which is why He sent His Son to Earth.

    • Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:12-15; John 3:16-18

  • Jesus will return.

    Jesus will return and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with Him for eternity.

    • Acts 1:11; Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28

  • We are called to demonstrate God's love.

    As believers in Jesus, we are called to demonstrate and share His love and truth with those around us in practical ways so they come to know God and the new and abundant life He has for them.

About Us

Since 2003, Last Days Disciples (LDD), founded by Scott and Maria Erickson has been making disciples that make disciples!  With a commitment to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) through the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4: 18-19), Last Days Disciples has provided Biblical discipleship training through teaching, preaching, dramatic presentations, missions trips, counseling, deliverance and prayer ministry.  With numerous Last Days Disciples of Jesus now leading ministries of their own, LDD continues to provide training, resources and ministry support to those who are seeking how to enter more fully into all Jesus Christ died to give them and to help others do the same!  

Together, Scott and Maria have written manuals on Discipleship and Deliverance and host their own weekly discipleship radio show, The Rest of the Rest, on AM980 The Mission. 

They live in Minnesota with their three amazing sons.

Maria Erickson

Maria is a graduate of two Bible schools, holds a Doctorate Degree in Theology and is a licensed minister through Worldwide Impact Group. She has been a preacher, intercessor, disciple-maker, and deliverance minister since 1996.  She has served in the church, politics, business and education and has brought the Gospel and love of God to ten nations, across the U.S. and locally through preaching, teaching, dramatic presentations, deliverance and prayer ministry.  She has a prayer-filled passion for revival - that America and the world be aligned with God’s will and purposes in our time.  

 In 2021, Maria was one of the founding members of Kingdom Alignment of MN, a ministry that raises up and releases apostolic teams to bring Minnesota into alignment with God’s will.  Maria also serves as the Minnesota State Ambassador for Awaken the Dawn.

Since 2000, Maria has served as the CEO of The Cradle Club’s three Twin Cities childcare schools.

Scott Erickson

Scott has been a disciple-maker since 1987. He began taking troubled young adults into his home in 1994 and was led into inner healing and deliverance ministry from there. For over seven years, he discipled about thirty young men who came into his home out of gangs, prison, off of drugs, etc.. The overwhelming majority were transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ and went on to become doctors, missionaries, pastors, businessmen, husbands and fathers.  

Countless others have been ministered to through the Bible study Scott started in 1987 and the deliverance ministry he began in 1999, both of which he continues to co-lead on a weekly basis.  Scott has preached the Gospel across the US as well as Kenya, Uganda, and India. He is a prolific teacher and writer who delights in using humor to help his audience receive “a-ha” moments they didn’t realize they needed.

Scott holds a BS from Macalester College in Business, Theater and Art and has served as the CFO for The Cradle Club for over thirty years.

God has used Scott and Maria through the years to help me, especially when I first came to the Lord.
